Wildjam #89 Entry - Repurposed
Summon the biggest horde of animals and let you spider feast while you collect the highest score.
It's a simple game, and a first real project I did in godot. I tried to implement all three wildcards even if in a bit simplistic manner.It's not a complex game, and I focused more on learning than creating fun experience, but hopefully you enjoyed trying it out!
HOW TO PLAY:
A lot of y'all said it's confusing and I probably didn't do a good job with tutorial so here is a better explanation of how it's played.
Controls:
Arrow Keys
ENTER - Resets the game
Shaman:
Animals spawn each 4 steps and you have to doge them.
There is 15 second timer after which human dies and you summon spider. Before those 15 seconds are up you need to keep moving to fill up the bar (30steps total). Everything in the scene only moves when you do.
Spider:
Eats animals, but after it eats first animal it turns into that animal color and if you eat another color you die.
For each animal you ate you get a point.
Human corpse resets color to neutral, so you can eat another colored animal after it.
Once you eat first animal you can't step on empty block anymore.
When spider dies it leaves cobweb that can't be interacted with and you become shaman again.
